1. Do I have to commit to a preset number of sessions?
No, you don’t have to commit to a preset number of sessions. Usually I see people once a week or bi-monthly. The number of sessions or length of time in therapy is something we work out together. Generally, you will know when you feel finished or when it is time to take a break.
2. Do you take insurance?
No, I don’t file insurance. I can give you a receipt so you can file with your insurance company if you so choose.
3. Where are you located?
I am located in Central Austin, in the Deep Eddy neighborhood near MOPAC and Enfield Road.
4. How do I know if you are the right therapist for me?
This is probably the most important item to consider. That is why I offer a free consultation, with no obligation whatsoever. Having a good fit is so important I reccomend you meet several therapists before you choose someone to work with. Ask yourself, ”Do I feel comfortable?”, “Does this person seem to “get me”?”. If the answer is no, move along to someone else. Trust your gut.
